These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings, hires, deliveries and services provided by Aztec Ground Protection Mats.
By booking or hiring our ground protection mats, you agree to the terms below.
2. Our Services
Aztec Ground Protection Mats provides temporary ground protection solutions for events, weddings, construction sites, landscaping projects and domestic use.
Services may include:

Supply of ground protection mats

Delivery and collection
-
Installation and removal (where agreed)
All bookings are subject to availability.
3. Booking and Payment
Bookings can be made via phone, email, website or social media.
Full payment may be required prior to delivery unless otherwise agreed.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking if payment has not been received.
Prices are provided on a case-by-case basis depending on location, access and installation requirements.
4. Hire Period
There is no minimum hire period unless agreed in writing.
The hire period begins on the agreed delivery date and ends on the agreed collection date.
Late collections or extensions must be agreed in advance. Additional charges may apply.
5. Delivery and Access
The customer is responsible for ensuring:

Clear and safe access to the site

Suitable ground conditions

Adequate space for delivery vehicle access
If access is not possible or unsafe, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule delivery. Additional charges may apply.
6. Installation
Where installation is provided:

Mats will be installed on suitable ground only

We are not responsible for pre-existing ground damage
-
We are not responsible for underground services unless disclosed in advance
Customers must inform us of any known underground pipes, cables or drainage systems before installation.
7. Responsibility During Hire
From delivery until collection, the mats remain the responsibility of the customer.
The customer agrees to:

Use the mats for their intended purpose only

Prevent misuse, theft or damage

Not alter, cut or modify the mats
The customer is liable for loss, theft or damage beyond fair wear and tear.
8. Damage and Loss
If mats are damaged, lost or stolen during the hire period, the customer will be charged for repair or replacement.
Charges will reflect the cost of replacement at current market value.
9. Weather and Ground Conditions
Ground protection mats reduce surface damage but do not guarantee complete prevention of ground marking, rutting or movement, especially in extreme weather conditions.
Aztec Ground Protection Mats cannot be held responsible for damage caused by:

Severe weather

Waterlogged or unstable ground

Misuse or overloading
10. Cancellation Policy
If a booking is cancelled:

More than 7 days before delivery - no charge (unless deposit taken)

Less than 7 days before delivery - we reserve the right to retain any deposit
If cancellation occurs after delivery, full hire charges apply.
11. Liability
We maintain public liability insurance.
However, Aztec Ground Protection Mats shall not be liable for:

Indirect or consequential loss

Loss of business or income
-
Damage caused by misuse of equipment
Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the hire agreement.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including extreme weather, vehicle breakdown, illness or acts of God.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
